So a couple of days after my last update, I managed to beat A9, A10 and A11 with the Ironclad fairly quickly but then got to Ascension 12 and that is where shit hits the fan. > Use Seeing red, use Double Tap, Use Whirlwind, if you have any strength Buff and more energy from relics, this will obliterate everyone.Ī question though, does every character has its own Ascencion progression or is it one and it's shared among all 4 characters? > Use Barricade, then Impervious, then Entrench then body slam. > Use Demon Form,, then Spot weakness, then limit Break+ every time you can, with Flex cards sprinkled around, You'll be over 30 strength in no time I am right now on ascension 9 and thaven't touched the other characters, only the Ironclad which is like the standard "warrior" class and as such you'll want to buff their strength to the max and deal regular damage with "0" cards like clash and anger, coupled with good decent decent strategies like Shrug-it-off's, Rages+ and occasionaly impervious.Ĭool synergies I found were (all cards in their + forms of course) Ok, so after two weeks, yeah there is a ton to learn but the game absolutely has the last say regarding whether you are going to make it through or not, the game is short and good enough that you'll want to try with different synergies and combinations. This being a card game, it feels like bullshit when a Boss will clearly deal 35+ damage and the game conveniently gives you zero defenses cards.Īre there sure-fire strategies to finish all the acts in a given runthrough or is it all luck? Here it feels like you are just delaying the inevitable. It reminds me of dead cells, in that when you lose, you unlock better equipment but in DC you can play carefully and strategically even if you have poor equipment.
kind of like a casino machine that makes you believe you are about to win but ultimately it knows exactly when you are going to lose.
Started playing this over the weekend and is very addictive but something feels wrong about it.
